Sports Based Admission (2014-15) – Pre-Admission Selection Trials
Two percent seats have been reserved for admission on sports basis in the MA, MSc, MBA, BBA, BBIT, M.Com, BS(Hons), B.Com, D-Pharm, BSc Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, etc), BFA, LLB, LLB (Hons.), MFA, etc. and other degree programs. Outstanding players are encouraged to take part in the pre-admission selection trials. Only Inter Board, inter University and National medalist players will be eligible to appear for trials. The interested candidates desirous to take admission in Lahore, Gujranwala and Jhelum campuses are advised to appear in the sports trials according to the following schedule:

Established in 1882 at Lahore, the University of the Punjab is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. It was the first to be established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. The fact that two Nobel laureates are from this University speaks volumes for its academic and research excellence.
